Yelizaveta Kozlova

Yelizaveta Kozlova

Violin

Born in 1984 in Kyiv/Ukraine. After graduating with distinction from the Kyiv State Music College “Glier”, she studied from 2003 at the Bern University of the Arts (concert diploma in the class of Monika Urbaniak Lisik). Her keen interest in the Baroque violin led her to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis to study violin in historical set-up with Chiara Banchini, as well as chamber music. In 2010 she received her diploma in early music and her master’s in music education. During her studies she was a prizewinner of the “Odd Fellow”, “Kiefer Hablitzel Stiftung” and “Nicati de Luze” foundations. Since then she has appeared many times at various festivals as an orchestral musician, soloist and leader (“Musica Fiorita”, “Le Phénix”, “Freitagsakademie”, “Cappel Antiqua” and others). Her love of music and teaching led her to new studies in “Music and Movement”, which she completed successfully in 2020.
